Scrimmage Festival Details

OWASSO, Okla. (Aug. 4, 2011) -- The season has gotten off to a blistering start! This trend continues this weekend with our Scrimmage Festival on Saturday. This is an ALL teams event and preparations will begin Friday evening @ 7p. We need everyone’s assistance in getting the fields ready at the Owasso Sports Complex and getting things set up in the concession area. If you are in town, please join us. The more help we have the quicker preparations will be completed.

The festival, at this time, will run all day Saturday with 26 teams playing. We will need all the help we can get to keep the fields in playing condition and all players hydrated and fed. Please try to carve out a few hours of your Saturday to help make this happen. Although this is a preseason warmup for our teams, it is also a fundraiser which benefits all of our players.

As a side note, with the weather conditions being what they are, we are making every effort to insure that our players have the necessary hydration and food needed to sustain them. However, you, as parents, might want to make sure your player brings their own jug just to be on the safe side.
